Turnbull has launched a new division called Turnbull Finished Services (TFS), which specializes in bringing the company’s famous wood and metal refinishing to modern firearms.
According to a company announcement, the concept of TFS “is that the gun owner need only send in those parts being refinished. For example, on a polymer frame pistol, the customer needs to only send in the slide for finishing as compared to sending the entire firearm.
According to CEO Doug Turnbull, who founded the company, “We get a lot of customers asking if we can customize their new pistol or rifle. The idea of Turnbull Finished Services is to make that possible and more affordable.”
The company says that all of its techniques used, including their unique bone charcoal case coloring and detailed woodwork, are applied to modern firearms, according to a customer’s wishes. The service is currently offered for various Ruger handguns plus three different Marlin lever-action rifle models.
TFS is different than Turnbull Restoration, because this new service actually finishes new firearms, rather than antique or distressed guns. Find out details at turnbullrestoration.com.
