The 36th annual Gun Rights Policy Conference (GRPC) is scheduled this weekend, and there is still time to register for the event, which has a significant benefit.
Those who register will receive free books worth over $150, according to the Second Amendment Foundation, which co-sponsors the event with the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. It’s Free and you can register here. There are already some 5,400 people registered for the event.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Saving Freedom.” The final agenda will be available online here on Tuesday.
According to SAF, the conference will be available on multiple platforms including YouTube and Facebook.
“With the increased threats facing Second Amendment Supporters,” noted SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan Gottlieb, “it is more urgent than ever that we have the data and facts at our fingertips.”
This year’s GRPC program is focusing on Public Safety, Gun Culture, Outreach, History of Firearms Ownership, Media and Gun Rights and the dozens of legal challenges for expansion and security of Second Amendment rights that have been filed in the last 12 months.
Confirmed presenters include:
- Over a dozen lawyers who have filed some of the most important Second Amendment cases across the country.
- John Lott, noted author and researcher.
- Cam Edwards, host of Cam & Company and BearingArms.com
- Stephen Gutowski, Founder of The Reload.
- AWR Hawkins, author and contributor at Breitbart News.
- Mark Walters, host of Armed American Radio.
- Alan Gottlieb, Founder Second Amendment Foundation.
- Dave Kopel, noted gun rights attorney, author and scholar.
- David T. Hardy, Esq., litigator, video producer, historian.
- Rick Patterson, SAF advisor and ATT and UN expert.
- Massad Ayoob, noted trainer, author and SAF President.
- State leaders who will let you know what they did right and wrong in their battles.
The annual GRPC is one of the most important events of the year for the firearms community and grassroots gun rights activists. Over the years, thousands of activists have attended these events, which have hosted virtually all of the leaders in the Second Amendment movement.
Of particular importance this year are the state elections in New Jersey and Virginia, both of which hold their statewide elections, including for governor, in political “off years.” Also, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments in the challenge of New York’s gun permit law by the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association.
