The new SAR9 GEN3 striker-fired pistols have been designed and engineered to meet and exceed the demands of sports shooters and personal defense customers, according to a company release. Built from the DNA of the SAR9, one of the world’s most rigorously tested firearms, this newly redefined pistol offers premium features.
A lightweight, color-infused polymer frame, complete with an accessory rail, offers excellent wear resistance. Aggressive serrations featuring lightning cuts enhance both cooling and manipulation of the Cerakote-finished slide. The barrels are hammer-forged with recessed crowns for increased accuracy. The GEN3 comes standard with a tritium-powered night iron sight with a bright halo for quick target acquisition. An optic ready RMSc cutout is incorporated into the slide.
The newly redesigned member of the SAR9 GEN3 family includes ergonomic back and side plates, allowing 27 different combinations, for that perfect fit. Its state-of-the-art design features a low bore axis-to-grip ratio, reducing muzzle climb. The 20-degree grip angle provides superior control for fast second-shot recovery. Combined with a smooth, flat-style, ambidextrous safety trigger, the SAR9 GEN3 is the perfect everyday carry pistol, especially when you want a round chambered. The SAR9 GEN3 comes with two 17 round magazines.
