WI Governor Wants Gun Control

Posted By TGM_Staff On Friday, November 8, 2019 04:00 AM. Under Featured

Wisconsin’s Democrat Gov. Tony Evers wants to pass what that state’s gun control advocates are calling “moderate, common-sense proposals,” according to Fox News.

However, Republicans in control of the legislature show no signs of cooperating.

There seems little doubt that guns are going to be used as a political football next year, first in state legislatures and then as the election season cranks up. At the same time, the U.S. Supreme Court has accepted one Second Amendment case for hearing, and there are at least four others currently waiting to be accepted for review.

Billionaire-supported gun prohibition lobbying groups are gearing up for the 2020 elections. Their intent is to take the U.S. Senate, retain the House majority and unseat President Donald Trump before he can nominate more conservative judges and possibly another Supreme Court justice to the federal bench.
