More Wikileaks revelations show Dems shopping for ‘terrorism’ labels

Newsmax.com reported on Oct. 17 that John Podesta lamented that a Muslim, not a white man, was the shooter in San Bernardino, CA, crediting the latest batch of revelations by WikiLeaks.

In what appears to be another instance of the Democratic Party trying in earnest to avoid linking terrorism to Islam, Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta privately wished in the aftermath of last year’s terrorist attack in San Bernardino, CA, that the shooter was a white man rather than a Muslim, The Washington Free Beacon reported.

After MSNBC’s Chris Hayes reported that one of the two shooters in the attack was named Syeed Farook, Podesta wrote, “Better if a guy named Sayeed Farouk was reporting that a guy named Christopher Hayes was the shooter.”

The email, which was sent to Clinton campaign spokeswoman Karen Finney, was one of thousands stolen from Podesta’s account and released by WikiLeaks, according to Newmax.com.

Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, murdered 14 people and injured an additional 22 in the December 2, 2015, attack before being killed in a shootout with police. The couple was later discovered to have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State (ISIS).

Fox News reported that the email chain began when someone sent the Hayes tweet identifying the shooter to Finney, who forwarded the email to Podesta while commenting, “Damn.”

In another WikiLeaks revelation connected with the Democratic Party’s attempt to avoid associating terrorist attacks with Islam, a 154-page debate prep booklet was found compiled a few months after the massacre that includes the issue, “Should we call this Islamic terrorism?”

But Fox reports that the seven-point answer does not even include the words “Islamic terrorism,” with the booklet suggesting that Clinton call the enemy “radical jihadists.”
