As the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show continues in Las Vegas this week, Benelli has announced new shotguns for 2026 which are getting plenty of attention.
The company has expanded the Super Black Eagle 3 A.I. (for Advanced Impact barrel technology) line with new 28-gauge models, new camouflage offerings, and purposeful operational enhancements. Built for demanding environments and uncompromising performance, the latest SBE 3 A.I. updates reinforce Benelli’s leadership in modern waterfowling shotguns.
For 2026, Benelli introduces its first-ever 28-gauge Super Black Eagle 3 models, all of which are equipped with Advanced Impact (A.I.) barrels and chambered for 2 3/4- and 3-inch shotshells. These all-new offerings feature 28-inch A.I. barrels and are available in GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Marsh camo paired with Midnight Bronze Cerakote (model #12316) or GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Timber accented with Cobalt Cerakote (model #12336), Realtree® Max-7™ with FDE Cerakote (model 12366), and Mossy Oak® Bottomland™ with Patriot Brown Cerakote finish (12386), marking the debut of the SBE 3 A.I. platform in 28 gauge.
According to Benelli, the A.I. barrel technology “has established a new benchmark in shotgun performance, maintaining higher pellet density while delivering increased velocity and penetration compared to conventional barrel designs… (delivering) decisive results—on both clays and birds alike.”
To improve function in harsh, cold-weather conditions, Benelli has also refined the SBE 3 A.I. operational controls. Updates include a larger cylinder-style bolt handle and a complete set of extended choke tubes, allowing for fast, confident manipulation even with gloved hands.
MSRPs for the 2026 Super Black Eagle 3 A.I. shotguns range from $2,849 to $3,099.
Benelli also announced an update in the Montefeltro Silver line of semi-auto shotguns for 2026. Specifically, the company has introduced the #10931 and #10935 models. Gracefully modernized while remaining true to its classical roots, the Montefeltro Silver blends beauty, elegant handling, and the proven reliability of Benell’s Inertia Driven® system – an ideal choice for shooters devoted to traditional upland sporting arms, according to Benelli’s announcement.
Both the 12- and 20-gauge Montefeltro Silver models feature newly engraved brushed nickel alloy receivers with gold accents. The 12-gauge, 28-inch configuration carries an upland motif highlighted by gold pheasants, while the 20-gauge, 26-inch variant presents gold quail set within a pastoral scene—each evoking the heritage and rhythm of classic field shooting.
Complementing the detailed engraving are carefully considered aesthetic and ergonomic refinements, including the sleek, modernized receiver design and slimmer stock and forend, first introduced with the start of the Montefeltro refresh in 2023. Together, these elements pair with the classic gold-finished trigger, gloss nickel bolt and bolt handle, and gloss blue barrel to reinforce the Montefeltro Silver’s restrained elegance while maintaining its unmistakable Benelli character.
Each shotgun is stocked in rich AA-grade satin walnut, paired with Benelli’s Easy-Locking Inertia Bolt and Easy-Loading systems for confident operation in the field. A red-bar front sight crowns the deep gloss blue barrel, delivering fast-on-target performance. Both models are chambered for 3-inch shotshells.
