Funeral services for gun rights hero Otis McDonald, icon of the 2010 Supreme Court McDonald ruling on the Second Amendment, are scheduled for this Friday, April 11.

Mr. McDonald passed away April 4 following a long illness, as TGM previously reported.

Services will be held at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Harvey, a Chicago suburb, starting at 10 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Fred Jones, McDonald’s nephew, will officiate. Interment will be at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

The family has asked that remembrances be made to the Second Amendment Foundation and Illinois State Rifle Association.
