Smith & Wesson announced today the release of the Performance Center® EQUALIZER Carry Comp pistol.
With the addition of performance-based upgrades, Smith & Wesson’s most user‑friendly pistol design is now even more capable.
Chambered in 9mm, the EQUALIZER Carry Comp is built with a micro-compact frame and ships with 10, 13, and 15-round magazines. It features a single-action Performance Center trigger that delivers a crisp, consistent break, helping shooters stay on target. Additionally, it utilizes EZ technology, allowing users to charge the firearm with ease. A notable feature that improves overall performance is its strategically designed PowerPort™, located at the end of the barrel at the twelve o’clock position. This port diverts gas upwards, reducing felt recoil, keeping the muzzle flat for fast, confident follow‑up shots.
The EQUALIZER Carry Comp includes a picatinny-style rail to mount lights or laser accessories, an optics-ready slide, enhanced aggressive serrations, and an Ameriglo® Trooper front night sight and blacked-out u-notch rear sight for an improved sight picture.
