As the anual Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) show looms in Las Vegas, Nevada, Trijicon has announced the introduction of the new AccuPoint 1-8×24 riflescope.

The announcement was posted Thursday at The Outdoor Wire.

Developed with extensive feedback from professional hunters—from the Alaska backcountry to the plains of Africa—the AccuPoint 1-8×24 is engineered to give big-bore rifle hunters the versatility they need for any situation. Its new Hunter Holds MOA reticle enables most dangerous-game cartridges to be zeroed at 50 or 100 yards while providing intuitive 50-yard hold points out to 250 yards, ensuring confident shot placement from “too-close” encounters to extended-range opportunities. A one-gun safari is now a reality with the new 1-8×24 AccuPoint!

Like all AccuPoint models, the 1-8×24 features Trijicon’s advanced tritium and fiber-optic illuminated reticle, delivering a bright, precise aiming point in any lighting condition—without batteries. This dual-illumination system automatically adjusts reticle brightness to match ambient light, while the patented manual brightness override (fiber strip or fiber dial, depending on model) gives users additional control when needed.

The AccuPoint line is renowned for outstanding optical clarity and brightness, thanks to premium, multi-coated, broadband, anti-reflective glass. A rugged, hard-anodized, military-grade aluminum body provides exceptional durability and all-weather reliability. User-friendly turret controls offer crisp, repeatable windage and elevation adjustments for accurate, tool-free zeroing and dependable tracking.

The Trijicon AccuPoint 1-8×24 sets a new standard for versatility—delivering speed up close, precision at distance, and confidence in any environment.

Backed by The Science of Brilliant® testing methodology that Trijicon takes to every product, AccuPoint riflescope models are Alaska-to-Africa Tested to ensure performance from -20°F to 140°F, giving shooters and hunters supreme confidence in any climate. Each model is Solid Zero Tested and subjected to 5,000 rounds of heavy cartridge testing to ensure no reticle shift, while Drop Testing guarantees that every bump and bruise won’t result in a warranty claim. AccuPoint models are Shock & Vibration Tested to take on recoil and the abuse of the field without failure. Finally, all models are Immersion Tested and dry-nitrogen filled to eliminate internal fogging even in the harshest environments.

MSRP: $1,904.00
