Winchester Ammunition launches Supreme® Long Range Ammunition, an all-new line of high-quality precision centerfire rifle ammunition that takes long range shooting to the next level.
Featuring BC Max™ bullets, the first Winchester bullet purpose-built for hunting and targets at even the most extreme ranges, Supreme Long Range promises match-grade accuracy and terminal performance.
The BC Max bullet utilizes innovative manufacturing techniques to produce heavy for caliber and highly accurate bullets that offer the highest ballistic coefficient available from Winchester. The thick-walled jacket of the BC Max bullet allows for controlled expansion, optimal weight retention, and critical penetration. Paired with Winchester match-grade components, Supreme Long Range delivers consistent accuracy and terminal results that hunters and shooters can rely on.

“We wanted to develop the most accurate, factory loaded precision rifle hunting cartridge, period,” said Kyle Masinelli, Senior Director of Product Innovation and Strategy for Winchester Ammunition. “Supreme Long Range was engineered for the long-range hunter that may only get one chance to make a shot. If that hunter has the skill to make the shot, Winchester Supreme Long Range will take care of the rest.”
Initially, loads are available in five popular calibers, all using BC Max bullet: .30-06 Sprg., .300 WSM and .300 Win. Mag., all three with 195-grain bullets; 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5 PRC, both featuring 140-grain projectiles.
On the way, according to Winchester, are loads in .308 Winchester/175-grain BC Max; 6.8 Western/175-grain BC Max; .300 PRC/195-grain BC Max, and 7mm PRC/180-grain BC Max.
