In several unconfirmed reports posted on blogs and social media, it appears Starbucks may be implementing new rules for its stores nationwide.

The rumor comes shortly after the group was targeted by anti-gun groups to halt their current policy of allowing lawful carry in stores.

Attempts to reach Starbucks at their corporate headquarters in Seattle for comment were unsuccessful.

Update:  Statement from Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz.
