Catalyst Arms has introduced the Hardpoint™ Picatinny Rail Mount and Bomb Rack™ M-LOK® Rail Extension for the Ruger® Mini-14® (and Mini-30), according to The Outdoor Wire.
The modular system lets owners mount multiple accessories—including lights, bipods, and grips—plus push-button QD slings, while keeping the forend completely clear for a better grip and improved handling. Both components easily install with no gunsmithing or permanent modifications to the rifle. The entire system is free-floating and does not contact the barrel.
Hardpoint™ Picatinny Rail Mount
The Hardpoint simply bolts to the bottom of the Mini-14 gas block, providing one of the easiest and most efficient ways to add a Picatinny accessory rail. Once installed, it provides a three-slot Picatinny rail ideal for lights, bipods, or other accessories. An included push-button QD sling swivel cup mounts on either side for ambidextrous use. Its low-profile design allows lights to sit almost flush with the bottom of the stock, minimizing bulk, snagging, and overall rifle profile. The Hardpoint is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and made in the U.S.A.
Bomb Rack™ M-LOK® Rail Extension
The Bomb Rack attaches directly to the Hardpoint and adds five M-LOK® slots (at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions). This expands mounting options for larger or multiple accessories without interfering with the sling. Like the Hardpoint, the Bomb Rack is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and made in the U.S.A.
