SLG2, Inc. will bring its Shoot Like A Girl experience to Cabela’s in Hamburg, Pennsylvania, this weekend, July 11-12, as part of its 2026 Grand Safety Tour, according to The Outdoor Wire.

The Hamburg event marks the first of two consecutive weekends in Pennsylvania, with the SLG team returning July 18-19 for a second stop at Bass Pro Shops in Harrisburg.

Designed to be much more than a product showcase, the free event gives women, families, and outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to learn new skills, gain confidence, and connect with industry experts in a fun, welcoming environment. From hands-on firearm and archery experiences to outdoor education and product demonstrations, guests will discover practical outdoor skills that help make time spent outdoors safer and more enjoyable.

“Pennsylvania has always been one of our most attended stops on tour,” said Karen Butler, president of SLG2, Inc. “Every time we visit, we meet people who are genuinely enthusiastic about the Shoot Like A Girl experience. Our team is energized to meet everyone and match that excitement during our our back-to-back weekends in Hamburg and Harrisburg.”

Event Location:

Cabela’s
100 Cabela Drive
Hamburg, PA 19526

Event Details:

Saturday, July 11: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 12: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The centerpiece of the experience is Shoot Like A Girl’s fully enclosed semi-tractor trailer mobile range. Inside the mobile range, guests aged 18 and older can participate in an instructor-led experience focused on safe firearm handling using a FATS by Inveris military-grade simulator that provides realistic feedback in a controlled environment.

Women can also participate in archery activities led by certified coaches, making the event an engaging and educational experience for the entire family. Youth and teens are encouraged to attend and take part in firearm safety discussions.

Outside the mobile range, attendees can explore the Shoot Like A Girl gun bar, featuring a variety of firearms and product demonstrations from some of the outdoor industry’s leading brands. Attendees can also explore hands-on demonstrations regarding safe storage options, pepper spray with inert spray, knife sharpening, and much more. These practical skills help support safety, foster preparedness, and encourage confidence both in the field and at home. Guests will also get a hands-on opportunity to test optics, holsters, concealed carry handbags, and other outdoor accessories.

Women, men, and families of all experience levels are welcome, and no prior knowledge is required to participate. The event is free to attend, and all equipment will be provided on-site.
